I am planning on fishing all over PA this summer, but for now i will stick with bear creek and the Lil Sch. River. What flies would you reccomend for a small stream with small to medium wild browns, In March. The widest is probaly 35 feet, and deepest maybe 4 feet.
Also Any one here fish the neversink in NY?

Hi,
I fish those same streams in March, and do well with quill gordons 16# and blue quills, a couple years ago it was high and stained water wooly buggers, black with some flash in the tail worked great , I fish the little sch. with a 4wt 9' winston BIIX, also do well with16# hairsear, B.H. we also do very well with a breadcrust, body we use roede island red quill and grizzly hackle, 16# and 14#, we found its better too fish a lille later in the day not real early, like 10 or 11, that is in march.
also little black stoneflies work well, hope this helps, Ill be there this week banging away at um maybe we'll see you there . Have fun
