The Sacristan Pharaoh's Ant
I was halfway reading the post that was about what was American made. Rods anyway. I'm looking to make my first purchase and want to support the local guys. I had to leave the computer, but when I came back, it seems to have been deleted. Anyone know what happened? unsure.gif

Globalization tends to split people´s opinions, to a degree...Perhapes the thread got too political blink.gif

Ask the administration! or the moderator ?
Seemed like uncalled for censorship deletion ? had 29 replies , and plenty of facts. JMO

about 400 posts gone over the last week... seems members keep pulling their stuff. When BD, GRN and rich pulled their posts a few weeks ago, total posts went down by over 4000... can't tell who this last one is. Nope, no need for changes in moderation here. Why is it that the equip. forum requires registration and others don't... what's the point huh.gif There must be some serious reach around going on somewhere here blink.gif

I bet that thread got pulled because Werntz popped up. It was a harmless post, kind of really funny in an odd sort of way really, oh well.

BD,
I don't frequent FAOL much because the person who runs this site is a real pompus arce! I've had a couple of run ins with him and his opinion. If you recommend anything that is not a sponsor of his site he blasts you. I know as he's blasted me a couple of times. But this is just my personal opinion.

well,

if it wasn't the moderator, one of three things happened.

1. the mod is fibbing

2. the Administration actually responded to someone

3. the Administration changed policy and now allows for Moderators to delete posts in areas other then their designated area.

although i agree that the strand was relatively tame compared to others that have appeared, if my guesses 2 or 3 are correct, that's a good thing.

Rich, you missed one... the originator of the topic may have deleted too, but that doesn't discount the unfortunate possibility of #1, and I wouldn't say that about the other two moderators.

Don't know if the post drop you mean is just on this forum or on all. I f on all, it's dropped because I have been gradually cleaning the classifieds out a little.
I didn't delete anything here though! ( I can't anyway!)

Sad to say, but I actually figured that's what you meant. Seems like a lot of BB owners have some serious egos.
