Hello,

Not really a gear question.... but I am wondering how the snow pack is looking this year for Western Montana.

I've heard that it has been draught for a couple of years in this area... any signs of relief for 2006 or is it still too early to tell?

I live in Bozeman, last years snow pack was almost a panic until Mar-May and we got dumped on to the extreme followed by high flows until mid July in all the rivers.

This year is "average" (or so sayeth the talking heads on the tube) with things being consistent i.e. cold and normal snow pack. Course normal is having a 67" base at Bridger ski area. Matter of fact we are having a bit of snow in the high ranges as I type... biggrin.gif
