A 22 inch brown out of the Provo River on a 4 wt boo rod? Wow! One question though. How and the Hell do you tie on a #30 midge pattern? Electron microscope!!! I have a heck of a time with a #20 parachute adams!! :-) Regards.

Here is my photo base URL http://www.pbase.com/albot/fly_tying I am going to add to my pbase step by step. I do have to use a fly tying magnifing glass, plus my regular reading glasses. To put it on my tippet, I use the flip downs.
Thank you so much though, I wish I could have gotten pictures. The one down side to fishing alone. I have never seen the two gentlemen on the shore before either.

I hear ya on the fishing alone bit as I do that quite a bit myself. Sometimes I backpack into the Wyoming wilderness 20 miles or so and fish for a week. Tough to photo fish in that situation. I have caught a lot of 14-17 inch fish and a few in the 18-19 inch range but never topped that 20 inch mark yet. On a fly rod that is. Of course even finding a wilderness lake that produces 20 inch trout is a venture all in itself.
I have driven up Provo Canyon several times traveling to Wyoming and although it looked like good water their seemed to be people EVERYWHERE!!! I can't imagine Browns of that stature that close to the Salt Lake metro area but obviously they are sly and they are there. Kudos to you. You are truley a flygoddess! take care.
