Are currently being sold by Sierra Trading Post for 129.00 dollars. Check their website if you don't get a catalog from them. They erroneously list this rod as fast action which it is not, but still a great price. Powell sold this rod last year for 199.00 and they called it a moderate fast action rod. It was discontinued for the Stylus model which now Powell dropped as well. (off their website anyway) I have not cast an Advantage XL but I own the Timax and love it. For 129 bucks it would be worth checking out and I'm sure STP would take returns if one did not like the rod. Just some info FWIW. Regards.
