Hi everyone, new to the forum. I have a question about repairing waders. I have a new pair of breathable waders I bought about a year ago and tried them on today for the first time. They are from White River Fly. Well they leak! sad.gif The leak is where the rubber boot attaches to the wader meterial. Is there a way to repair this leak?

Thanks in advance, Bud

I'd recommend a product called "Aqua Seal," available in small tubes at most camping stores.

Breathable waders, the bane of my existance. Have never had a pair that lasted. Try and send them back that is what I do, and when ya do get real mad and make a stink, it speeds up the proses alittle. As for repairs if it is the wader it self it is posible, but if it is the neoprene boot good luck, havent found anything that will fix that for vary long.

Aquaseal all the way!  However, a buddy of mine just got back from the Simms factory, where the crew were swearing at all of the Aquaseal someone had put on his/her waders.  They told him that if the person would have just sent it in, it would have been much easier and quicker to fix the problem.  The person's now looking at getting his waders back waaaaay later.  Go figure. rolleyes.gif

Hmmm, reminds me of a mechanic mumbling under his breath after trying to patch a tire filled with the snot in one of those "fix-a-flat" cans.... biggrin.gif

It's not a hole, appears to be at the seam, were wader material attaches to the the hard rubber boot.

White River as in Bass Pro Shops??? If they are Return the to Bass Pro. As an exepmloyee I took care of alot of those problems and Bass Pro will stand behind them and give you a new pair if you explain that they are less than a year old and this is the first time you wore them. The leak is probly at the stitching. Good luck Mike
