Ross is introducing a new reel. It is called a CLA (for Cimmaron Large Arbor). You can read about it and view a photo of it in the press release section of their website. It is supposed to be in stores by June.

Saw the pics this morning. Looks OK.
If it's anything like the regular Cimarron, then it is pretty much bulletproof. I have a couple of those I use on my "loaners" and they just keep on working.

It is supposed to be in stores June 1st, with some larger versions to follow. It is a re-designed LA version of the Cimmaron. Look for it to take the place of the Std. Cimmaron in the Ross line. I played with one last week, it looks to ba a nice reel for the price.

I just saw it too. If it's anything like the Cimarron then I think it'll be a winner. Are we seeing the end of another great reel?

Looks nice and I guess it uses the same sealed drag system as the Rhythm and Evo. One thing though, why not pay $30 more and get a Rhythm which is also a lighter reel? I like what they have done, but there isn't enough price/benefit of not moving up IMHO.
