I don't want to make this out to be a commercial but I'm really excited about Frog Hair leaders and tippets and wanted to share my satisfaction.

Mike Donovon (Illinois) sent me some Frog Hair tippet material and a leader to try out. I normally use Orvis leaders/tippet and think they are pretty good. I fished several times this year with the Frog Hair leader and tippet and find it to be exceptional. I have caught a good number of fish. I have yet to break a fish off with the Frog Hair leader or tippet. I have used it with Dry flies, wooly buggers, and nymphs. It lays out on the water beautiful compared to other leaders I have used. I have fished slow pools with very clear water as a test using 5X FH tippet. Caught several nice fish on size 14 Quill Gordons. I must say the FH leaders and tippets are a must try. I think a switch to Frog Hair leaders and tippet are in order for me...

I used a Fog Hair tapered leader for the first time, two weeks ago on the Green River. I found it to be a very good leader, but no better than the ones I usually use (Umpqua, Scientific Anglers, Rio, etc.). I did find it to be more expensive than the others, so I probably wouldn't buy them again.

I haven't yet tried their tippet material, so I can't comment on that.
