Anyone familiar with the Scott G 9 weight rod? I see that they are no longer made. Do they have the same action as the G trout weight models?

You might try calling Murray's Fly Shop in VA. They have a long-time relationship with Scott and could probably tell you something about the 9 wt. G. Here's the URL:
