Hi I'm new to all of this. I just purchased an Orvis 5 wt reel and a mid flex sage rod. I'm hoping these will be good tools to learn on?. I'm Canadian (Ontario) and will shortly be moving to Northwestern Idaho along the Washington state border. My question is Does anyone have any info on fly fishing in the Idaho, Washington area. Are ther e any good teachers out that way and is the fishing as good as I've heard?

you're putting an orvis on a sage? uhhh, you're not supposed to mix major brands like these.
