What knot do you guys find the best for attaching small bits of yarn for indicators? Thanks in advance

Tie your tippett with a uni knot and then with the three inch extension on the knot coming off from the main line using 3x or higher mono, tie in some yarn with any ol knot--since the secondary line is independent of the main line. Ask Matt (mbbishop) for an explanation. Easy to cast, great to mend.
