Gentilhombres, I found a rod holder that I bought years ago called a Float'n Tote. I thought that it was suitable for wearing around my waist so that I could carry an extra rod (different wt.) in order to switch rods if I wanted to. Lost track of it until this past weekend. I'm sure that it is really meant to use on a float tube. It's pretty neat in design and would work well. I bought from: e-mail: floatntote@telus.net.
