I am new to this board and would like to say hello. I have been fly fishing for the past 14 years and it pretty much consumes my life. I enjoy sharing stories with others and look forward to many interesting conversations in the future.

I live in Austin Texas. I fish the Guadalupe whenever possible, it is close and grtu has maintained a great population of healthy trout. I also enjoy the white and little red rivers, however I don't get to visit as often as I would like.
Hi Will...
I have a 26yo Son who lives West of New Braunfels about 20 miles - near Spring Branch. He fishes the Guad sometimes, as do I and TomTx when we are that way. I live in Florida for now.
Good to have you on board!

The Guad is on its way in becoming a great fishery, it fishes very well in the colder months. However, during warmer times it is difficult to fish because of the large amounts of tubers. If you can get on the water between the "rubber hatches" nice rainbows and browns can be caught year-round.

Welcome! You'll enjoy this forum. Good humour and good advice. There are times you will not get a straght answer, but that's part of the charm.
