I have a pristine sage LL 490 graghite 3, 4 pc rod. are these rods hard to come by and what kind of price can they bring in. thanks

I have seen Sage LL rods fetch anywhere from $150 to $300 on eBay. Final prices depend on the condition of the rod and how fickle the market is.

That's odd... I don't remember that configuration in a 4pc

Sage did make a few configurations in the LL series in 4pc (and this was before the original LL series was discontinued...not talking about the Classic reintroduction, which was only available in the 389-4 as far as I know). They only made the 4pc in the original LL series for 1, possibly 2 years during the later days of that series. The models I know of are 490-4 and 590-4, but they may have possibly made a couple of others in 4pc as well (seems like there was 486-4, but am not sure about that one).

The 490-4 LL is pretty rare, and in pristine condition would probably fetch $300 - $400 on ebay.
<An LL 490-3 (3pc) in real nice condition just sold for $307 on ebay last week, and a couple of LL 389-4 Classics recently sold for $330 - $359 or thereabouts>

well i think i got took then. it was in pristine condition. all i hope is the guy uses it and doesn't sell it. oh well. thanks for all your input now i will go cry. LOL
