Depends on whether your reels are click pawl or disc drag, and the condition. The click pawl models bring the most money. One in new/mint condition might bring $300.00 or so. Reels with edge wear and other dings will bring less. I would hazard a guess that the typical condition reel with some wear would sell in the $150.00 range, maybe a little more.

The disc drag models are much less desireable. As an example, you can buy a new CFO III disc drag model for in the $219 price range.

Spools can range in price from $50 up to more than $100, again depending on condition. Check eBay for the latest info. Good Luck!!

You should post a photo, somebody might make you an offer. Here is a photo of the inside of a CFO click pawl reel.

The two triangular pieces on each side of the spindle are the pawls. The newer disc drag model won't have the pawls.

I watched a CFOIII with spare spool go on ebay a few months ago for over $400. The reel was Hardy made in England, click pawl as good as your reel.
I had almost swung a deal to sell mine. Its an anniversary addition with spare spool in pristine condition. I had asked a price of $350 and had a nibble but I pulled the offer after seeing the price of the ebay reel.

mrquister: I just lost a spool on eBay after bidding $95.00 a few minutes ago. I wasn't sure if it was exactly the same as my spools are plain in the center, whixch look like yours. This spool had CFO III on the center cap (on the side with the handle). Take note: Orvis is currently selling a collector's edition (numbered) of this reel, brass, for $395.

Let me know the condition and if you are interested in selling your spare spool. Thanks.
