Does anyone have a Charlton 8450c 7/8 spool for sale. Bought the reel from a friend with the 5/6 spool. Want to use the reel for a summer stealhead reel and need the 7/8 for the capacity. Can anyone help. You can also email at ibis32@live.com.

Just a thought. If you can't find the spool, try using 40 to 50 pound gel spun braided line as backing. Most 40 to 50 pound braids have the same diameter as 12 pound dacron.
