I'm familiar with the Superfine's but not the Paradigms. Are the tapers/action of these models similar? Does anyone have experience with both to compare the two? Particularly in the longer lenghts, i.e.
8 1/2-9ft rods which are slower/faster in comparison the Superfines or Paradigms? Info is much appreciated!

Do the Superfines come that long?

The 5wt Henry's Fork and the 6wt Limestone are both 8 1/2ft in length. I believe there were a couple 9ft'rs before the rods were called "Superfine". I'm interested in a Paradigm in the 8 1/2-9ft lengths.

The Paradigm was the slowest of the T&T models. My memory of the paradigm is distant and very limited.I casted one enough to know I wanted to get one but got distracted along the way. I do have an older Superfine and think it's a very smooth ,slow rod .Don't remember thinking one was appreciably slower than the other but I remember thinking the Paradigm felt better in the hand .However that may have been not unlike the size of a fish getting larger with the age of the story.
if you come across an older Prardigm and decide not to buy it ,let me know.
Best,
Steve

Boo,
If you consider a Henry's Fork and/or Limestone "Superfines".....man, that throws virtually EVERYTHING into the ring...as a Superfine!;-) Take a look at some of the lightweight Sage ZXLs(or is it ZLX..?). I think you'd like those rods...imho..
