$775 is, well....EXPENSIVE!
I picked one up. Very light. I didn't have an opportunity to throw any line. Has anyone else? Opinions?

I cast it again and again at a recent 3 day show. It is a magnificent rod.
It is extremely light weight, powerful and has loads of feel. It is also well put together and quite good looking.
The only fault I could find, excewpt the price, is that the reel seat hardware, though a very nice design, seemed stamped instead of machined. If that ain't nit-picking I don't know what nit-picking means!
All-in-all, the other manufactures have a lot of catching up to do!

I finally cast one, sold a ZeroG 8wt and replaced it with the 8wt Helios for Atlantic Salmon and Bonefish. This rod is unbelieveably light and really throws line in the wind.

I have to admit, Jackster, now that you did, that my first impression was the same as yours was. The reel seat hardward seems kind of cheap next to the rest of the rod components.

Now, if I could just get some more of that subprime money, I'd die for a 4wt.

Thanks of you thoughts and info.

I got to cast ever model that is currently available yesterday. It was nice to get to play with them. I settled on the 9ft 4wt tip flex. It should be in shortly and then time to fish

All of the components where chosen to keep the rod as light as possible, so I am told. That should explain allot.

The rods are very nice if you like fast action rods.
