Having chosen the Sage SLT (8'6" 5wt), anybody have a nice reel to balance out this rod??

Don't know what your budget is, but you can't go wrong with a Ross. A Rhythm will set you back about $210.00 or so, an Evolution about $285.00 in the correct size for your rod.

Also look at the Bauer McKenzie Superlight series and the Nautilus Featherweight (my favorite). Both in the $300.00 range.

Finally, the best $100.00 reel on the market is the Orvis Battenkill Bar Stock (fully machined). Great looking and a quality reel for little money.

All of these can be bought on Ebay new for less than retail. Good Luck!!
