I have a 4 peice vintage fly rod given to me by my grandfather about 7 years back. It was his when he was a kid, probably 1930's or early 1940's. The rod is dyed green bamboo and has a metal silver label with a "South Bend" logo on it with a serial #. I have fished with it a few times but it doesnt really suit me well because it weighs alot compared to my graphite rods and feels "lenky", for lack of a better term. I was wondering if anyone is aware of this particular model and its value, if any?
Thanks, Chris
