Start your thread. Put about five or six wraps of lead on the front half of the hook.

Take your thread to the back of the hook and tie in a clump of marabou. It helps of you wet your fingers and stroke the marabou.

Move your thread up one third of the shank length and tie in some marabou as the wing. Don’t forget to angle it upwards.

Go up another 1/3 of the shank length and tie in some more marabou angled upwards.

Move your thread up to the eye and tie in one last clump of marabou angled upwards.

Whip finish and head cement.
