Attach thread at the back of the hook and tie tail on top. Wind thread 2/3 up the hook. Tie in flat gold tinsel and wrap the tinsel back toward the tail and then back up towards the hook eye making 2 layers Next take in a small clump of squirrel hair and make a wing. Now select a right and left section of a mottled turkey wing quill and tie them directly on top of the squirrel hair under wing. Wind the thread toward the eye. Tie in a small clump of deer body hair and spin it onto the hooks with the tips pointed toward the rear of the hook. Spin more hair until proper amount is achieved. Whip finish and trim head to desired shape.
