Start the thread midshank, then wind back to the bend.

Tie in several olive hare’s mask guard fibers and secure.

Tie in gold tinsel at the tail, add olive hare’s mask dubbing to the thread and dub over 2/3’s of the shank.

Wind gold tinsel to the end of dubbed body and secure.

Tie in one goose quill segment extending toward the rear and apply head cement to quill segment to help hold it together as the wingcase.

Apply a thicker amount of olive dubbing to the thread and wind to within one hook eye length from the eye.

Fold the quill segment over the end of the dubbing at the eye and secure with thread.

Whip finish, and apply head cement.

Pluck out dubbing under wingcase with dubbing needle for legs.
