Tie in 3 stems of gray osterich plume and clip to about 1/3 shank length.

Tie in length of monofiliment and thin (1/8 in.) piece of baggie.

Dub on body fairly evenly, about 2/3 of shank length.

Tie in and wrap the peacock herl. Leave room for the head.

Bring the baggie forward over the body and peacock and tie off. Put some tension on it but not so much that it tears.

Wrap the mono forward 5 or 6 times depending on the size of hook and tie off.

Whip finnish 4 or 5 wraps.

With a dubbing needle, pick out dubbing on the under side of the fly and head cement the head lightly.
