Start thread off in the middle of the shank.

Cut four equal strips of globug yarn about 2-3 inches long

Tie each strip on, one on top, one on the bottom and one on either side

Take each piece and twist the ends together

Take sharp scissors and cut the twisted yarn

Repeat steps 4, 5 for all four strands.
