Start by wrapping the thread on the hook and attaching the foam post making sure to trim the end on a shape taper for easy tie down. Now tie in a few strands of angel hair for the tail followed by a thin piece of thin skin cut on an angle for the tie in. Once the tip of the thin skin is tied in wrap it up the hook over lapping slightly on each turn to achieve a slight taper and rib effect. Next take a hackle of appropriate size and tie it in at the base of the post wrapping it up. Dub the thorax and wind the hackle to finish, tie off. Whip finish and head cement.
