Start the thread and wind back towards the barb, now tie in a small clump of z-lon the same length as the hook shank. Next dub a smooth tapered body to just behind the hook eye. Next take a stacked clump of deer hair tie it in for the wing trimming the butts for the head. Whip finish and cement.
