Start by wrapping the thread on the hook leaving the tag on, and then tie in the tail along the top of the hook with the tag end of the thread. To easily split the tail use the tag end of the thread and divide the two fibers. Next cut a thin piece of thin skin, overlapping it around the hook shank to form a tapered ribbed effect. At the base of the body tie in a piece of mottled thin skin for the wing case. Now for the underling, using z-lon tie in piece intersecting the body using a figure eight wrap. Next cut the wing from the sheeting and tie in using a figure eight wrap. To finish, dub around the wings and pull over wing case. Whip finish and head cement.
