    Start by tying in a clump of calf tail for the wing just behind the eye facing forward, cut the butts off at a sharp angle and tie back towards the hook point. Next take another clump of calf tail and tie it in for the tail also cut the butts at a sharp angle. Now take the stripped peacock herl and tie in at the base of the tail and wind forward about 1/3. Next tie in a peacock herl and wind forward 1/3. To finish, tie in two brown dry fly hackles and wrap forward with equal wraps in both the front and back of the wing. Whip finish and head cement.
