Form a thread base to about half way back on the hook.

Select a small bunch of deer body hair and spin it onto the hook.

Trim the deer body hair to resemble the shape of a caddis wing to provide a solid silhouette.

Attach a dry fly hackle (brown) and wrap until somewhat full.

Select two brown hackles and strip the barbs from them.

Tie them down pointing forward as shown to form antennae.

Whip finish and add a small bit of head cement.
