Start by wrapping the thread to the barb then using the thread form a tapered body about half way up the shank. Next tie in 2-3 pieces of pearl krystal flash followed by two CDC feathers for the underwing. Now take the pre cut wing material and attach tent style. Next take a CDC feather and tie in the tips for the wingcase, now tie in the hackle followed by peacock herl, wind the herl close to the eye then wrap the hackle through and trim the top. To finish pull the CDC over the top to form the wing case, trim the CDC to form head and attach the antennae. Whip finish and head cement.
